Now that the dust is settling after Muleskinner No. 1 here it is, the next chapter in our already notorious publishing history: Muleskinner Magazine Number Two.
We’ve upped the ante people, this one is bigger and better! Like the first issue, there’s articles on all kinds of music from the dirty underground: rockabilly, punk, country, bluegrass, garage punk and blues trash... Just rockin’ music baby! and a hell of a lot of it: a pounding one hundred pages of ungodly rock ‘n’ roll journalism.
Now what do we have? Interviews with garage gods The Sonics psychobilly kings Batmobile and The Reverend Horton Heat, The Bellrays, Mike Sanchez, The Hex Dispensers, Scott H. Biram, The .357 String Band and Bob Wayne among others.
Also, a piece on the graphic art of Voodoo Rhythm Records and of course the usual... news, gig reviews, record reviews et cetera.
All’s presented in a high quality, black and white magazine with top class photography and style. In print, man. No digitalism here, just everything you need to enjoy a couple of sessions on your porcelain easy chair! To be continued...
